Just a short post to let you know that yesterday I was awarded with a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in Windows Live award. I am very pleased and grateful to have received this award. I am looking forward to the coming year being a MVP in Windows Live with so much expectation and excitement around [...]
Earlier in the week Microsoft announced that it was releasing a new beta version of Skype for Macs and Windows that would allow users to video call their Facebook friends. This new feature expands the Facebook-to-Facebook video calling feature that was released back in July. It is now possible for Skype users to video call [...]
Next week I shall be visiting Microsoft UK to have a briefing about the new updates and features that will be coming to Hotmail soon. I have a few questions of my own already but I imagine that you will have many more questions that I can think of so I want you to let [...]
Well fear not for there’s plenty of places to catch up and see what all the excitement was about yesterday and why Windows 8 looks so good. Your first place to visit should be the http://www.buildwindows.com/ website which has a video of the keynote for you to watch. However I understand that some people might [...]
Well how was that for you? I’m not quite sure what to say nor indeed where to start with my coverage of Windows 8 now that is has been announced and demoed. It was easily the best keynote I’ve ever seen and has left me somewhat speechless as to what to say. Windows 8 is [...]

In the build up to BUILD (pun very much intended) I’ve been thinking about what to expect from the conference aside from the obvious Windows 8 news and one thing I keep coming back to is Windows Live. There are two big “things” that I think Windows Live can gain from the BUILD conference and [...]
Yesterday, in case you didn’t know (no idea how you could have missed it :P) Facebook and Skype announced a partnership that will allow Facebook friends to video call each other from within the browser. This is very interesting news and something I think will be very interesting/useful for Microsoft as it is in the [...]
I think this is a pretty good demonstration of how well Microsoft’s communication services can work together and how well they integrate with Facebook.
