There’s not long to wait now until your current Windows Phone 7 device can become a Windows Phone 7.5 device. This news comes straight form Microsoft where they said:
For months, we and dozens of our partner companies have been laying the groundwork for the Windows Phone 7.5 update—and making solid progress. As a result, we now expect to start rolling it out in the next week or two.
Once the updates start Microsoft will be updating their “Where’s My Phone Update” table that gives information about which devices in which countries can expect the update. The company has also warned against installing unofficial or leaked versions of Mango as it could cause significant issues, especially as the official update will come with firmware updates from your phone manufacturer.
If you are looking forward to having Mango on your phone then you might want to make sure you have the latest version of the Zune PC Software or the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac so you can update your phone as soon as 7.5 is released.
Who’s excited? Anyone not go a Windows Phone but plans on getting one of the recently announced devices that come with Mango preinstalled?
