Microsoft’s BUILD site has a web app for Windows 8 too?

Further to my post about Bing having a web app for Windows 8 it would appear that Microsoft BUILD website will also have a web app for Windows 8. If you search for “Build Windows” in the new Bing web app you get a different listing than in the regular search result. This different search result shows a link to “Open page with Build app”, that’s either a web app or a Windows 8 app I guess. I was notified by this by @fmartin_garcia of Explora Windows Blog well spotted!

Sadly nothing happens when I click the link, let me know if you have any more luck with it than me.

Another thing that was spotted by @fmartin_garcia was that the images in the weather information box contain the word “ipad” in their source URL. It’s not surprising that Bing is using the same images but it is surprising that they are using exactly the same images for the iPad and the Windows 8 web app. The URL is “http://www.bing.com/s/weather/ipad/icon/89×89/PartlyCloudy.png”.

Have you noticed anything else of interest in the new Bing UI?

"I have annother tip. You could have all your documents folder synced to skydrive if you right click the my documents folder and change the location of my documents to a folder within skydrive. That way when you change something in my documents folders it is also updated to skydrive. You can do this to sync between computers if you don't exceed the skydrive limit."

"Whta's about hardlinks (fsutil....) - so you can have yor original useful file structure and those folders, which should be synced, as hardlinks in the skydrive-structure? However, Live Mesh rules and I am also sad, that this good important difference to dropbox & Co - I can select, which folders of my structure should be synced - is now missing. "
