Today with the launch of Windows Phone 7 in the US I saw that Amazon.com were giving discounts for handsets on the other side of the Atlantic. I wondered if Amazon.co.uk were offering any discounts for Windows Phone 7 units in the UK, it doesn’t look like they are, however I did discover something.
It is appears that as of today Amazon UK are listing the Dell Venue Pro as an unlocked pre-order for only (/sarcasm) £499.99. Amazon report that the device will be released on November 22nd in the UK.
As regular readers will be aware this is the device that I really want but I think that until the price comes down or there are some good post-Christmas sales I will keep using my developer device for some time. I don’t believe we have seen such reliable information as this about the price and release date of the Dell Venue Pro, its good to see its only 2 weeks away.
