I will be writing up more articles tomorrow morning (Seattle time) but for now I just wanted to make sure you all know that Microsoft released a new IE9 Platform Preview at PDC10. The new release brings some new features such as CSS3 2D Transforms and it recognises HTML5 Semantic Elements as well as bug fixes and other enhancements.
You can download the new Platform Preview from ietestdrive.com.
The new release doesn’t look like the IE9 beta released back in September and is like the spartan Platform Previews from before the beta. However, Liveside has a post about how to bring the clean IE9 Beta UI to the PP.
Microsoft have also said that they don’t plan to release another beta of IE9 but that the next release will be a Release Candidate; we are getting close to a final version of IE9.
