Earlier this week I asked “where is Windows Live’s IE9 support?”, well it appears my question has been answered. When having a quick read through the comments on the most recent article on Inside Windows Live (its not something I often do, but might have to do more often) about the new features coming to Hotmail I saw the below comment from Dick Craddock, Group Program Manager, Windows Live Hotmail.
I think the jump list support mentioned here is specifically for Hotmail but I think its safe to assume that the entire Windows Live suite of online services will soon be receiving new, IE9 only features. Why this was mentioned as a new feature I don’t know but it certainly seems to be coming soon.
Update: Thanks to @Manan I now have an image of how the Hotmail jump list looks from Mat Velloso’s blog on MSDN.
It looks good to me.
