CNet appear to have had behind the scenes access to the Windows Phone 7 team’s offices this week and have posted some pictures of the team at work. However they have also shown a picture of the OS being tested in landscape mode on a mobile device that is not a phone.
Now whilst its probably just for testing purposes of a Qualcomm chip it does show how the OS appears in landscape mode, we hadn’t seen it like this before, and perhaps it points to bigger aspirations of a tablet device at some point.
I’m really not sure what to make of this as its probably only for testing purposes but then why would Microsoft being testing out Windows Phone 7 on a device with a screen that appears bigger than the phone devices we have seen before? I don’t want to get my hopes up for Microsoft planning to support more mobile devices with their mobile OS but that image above really gets me hopeful.
Does anyone know is there is only a testing device/screen above or something more?
