Windows Phone UK has today launched a new blog called “My Kind Of Phone” which will focus on making your phone personal through the apps on it, the phone case you have or the layout of your home screen. The main areas of the site appear to be centred around photography, music and gaming probably because these are often the things people are most interested in on their mobile devices and they are certainly a main feature of Windows Phone 7.
The blog has already shared two ways to create vintage, apparently the “new black”, photos one through an app for your Windows Phone called VintagePic which creates a vintage, Polaroid effect for your photo with over exposure and white border. The other way to create a vintage photo is through Photoshop.com Mobile which allows photo editing of your phone’s photos.
Currently there isn’t much on the blog but I’m sure over time it will become a useful place for Windows Phone users in the UK to find out the latest information and apps for their phones; I look forward to hearing more from them.
