There are some new images of the HP slate doing the rounds on the internet at the moment.
The back of the device looks good with the triangular pattern which appears to actually be flush design as seen in the next picture. I think under the thumb is the USB port.
In this image we can see the power button, a slot for what I guess will be a network card and a headphone jack.
The final image shows HP’s own software which appears to be on a file explorer with options to other applications on the left such as Hulu.
From the translation of the original post it sounds like the tablet has the same performance of a netbook which for some uses will be fine and other situations the lack of powerful hardware may well be noticeable. I am sure there will be much more leaked and/or announced about this Tablet device over the coming weeks and month and I’m sure this will be a viable alternative to the iPad however I will continue to wait for the Courier.
