People are aware of Windows Live through Messenger and Hotmail and the devices are expected to heavily integrate Windows Live services. The OS isn't thought to be built on top of Windows Phone 7 so I think the apps ecosystem will be very much like the Zune HD, ie Microsoft do most things for it, but if the OS is able to integrate many services there will less of a need for apps, also teens probably can't afford/wont want many apps. Wonder what the phones will called I'm betting on "Windows Phone Social" not sure what the phones would be called Chat for Turtle and Text for Pure maybe. Who knows and how will they fit in with the existing ecosystem for Zune etc. Will there be a developer story for these devices for targeting social apps?
