Windows Live have just rolled out (it must have changed within the last 6 hours) a new sign in page for all their services which features a slightly more Metro look with larger Segoe UI font.

There are some new features of the page such new icons and the ability to forget a Live ID by just hovering over it.

It would be nice to have the header image centred though and the “Don’t have a Windows Live ID”text vertically aligned with the “Sign up” button, but on the whole its a nice little improvement. I don’t however think this signals that Windows Live Wave is about to be released upon us, from what I have heard we shan’t being seeing it until May.

Saw it too. Looks prettier than the previous version.
The left column might look better with 1:1 or 1:2 proportion against the login. But that’s just me.

nice but i don’t understand why if u go to login.live.com it have always wave 2 look (like other link too that i don’t remember)

Who knows why, lets hope Wave 4 will be address the UI of all these fragmented Live services
