Another piece, albeit small, of the mighty jig-saw that is Windows Phone 7 Series was given to us last night in the way of the official titles of the various 7 Series sessions at MIX. The event is just over a week away and will provide developers, both of apps and games, with all the info and tools needed to write programs for the new mobile OS.

- Building Windows Phone Games
- Building a High Performance 3D Game for Windows Phone
- Designing and Developing for the Rich Mobile Web
- Overview of the Windows Phone 7 Series Application Platform
- Windows Phone UI and Design Language
- An Introduction to Developing Applications for Microsoft Silverlight
- Building Windows Phone Applications with Silverlight, Part 1

Liveside have pointed out there there is an extra two sessions at MIX than we were expecting there to be.
This event listing follows the announcement by Charlie Kindel that apps and games (notice this distinction between the two) that developing for 7 Series will be through .Net, Silverlight and XNA. This could mean that apps built to run on Windows Phone will also be able to run in the Cloud and PC through Silverlight and on Xbox through XNA; this will also mean that apps can be “trivial” for devs to write.
