IE8 Gets 3 UK TV Ads, Features In Only 8 Seconds
Neowin are reporting that Internet Explorer 8 in the UK has just kicked off an advertising campaign and its probably no coincidence that the EU browser ballot has only just started to be rolled out to all EU member states.
It actually appears as though that this campaign started on Monday with IE’s blog for the UK, The Blue E, showing off its three new videos as you can see below.
It will be interesting to see if these ads will have a positive effect like the Windows 7 ads did, they are exactly the same format so it makes sense that they would be just as effective.
