Yesterday during Engadget’s 4th show Microsoft’s Aaron Woodman was able to demo and announce the first Windows Phone 7 Series branded handset in the world. Both the hardware and, obviously, the software are still in testing and a long way from being finalised but as far as I can tell the device looks good.
I have grown used to HTC’s design for Windows Phone with very little colour or selection of materials so for me I am not sure I am a fan of the front of the device but having said that the keyboard looks spacious and probably good for typing on. The keyboard means that this is a Chassis 2 device, I wonder if LG are also planning a Chassis 1 device.
I look forward to seeing what other hardware manufactures have planned for their 7 Series devices.
