CES: Microsoft to announce its own tablet PC today?
I have just read an article on the New York Times website about Microsoft and HP working together to make a tablet PC that will be announced later today at the Microsoft CES Keynote. It is expecting to launch around the middle of the year, will have e-reader and multi-touch functions but it is unclear if this tablet will be anything like the Courier concept we all saw and loved from last September.
Another interesting point to note comes from Brandon LeBlanc, who runs the Windows Blogs, with his tweet.
Now I don’t know what this means but I could guess that the Microsoft and HP tablet we see will have a word beginning with “Sl” before tablet, probably slate.
I was looking forward to the CES keynote speech as it was but now that Microsoft are expected to announce a tablet PC I am very interested. What else are you looking forward to Microsoft talking about?
