Podcasts Coming To The Xbox?
I was listening to the latest Windows Weekly with Paul Thurott from the Twit Network and Leo Laporte lets slip that users will be soon be able to access Twit on the Xbox (around about 20 minutes). Obviously he didn’t say anything else about the podcasts, I doubt he is meant to have said what he did.
We know Microsoft already offers podcast streaming and downloading through Zune and that the Zune brand is now finally on the Xbox so would it be unrealistic to expect Microsoft to be adding in the music functionality and features that are in the PC software? Lets hope so.
One issue I can see with this is that Last.fm is now on the Xbox and I wonder if Microsoft would really put two competing music services on the Xbox, somehow I doubt it.
I have not used Last.fm and I don’t own an Xbox so I might be wrong and users could already be able to access Podcasts, please let me know if I am wrong.
