There are some of you who may have already spotted this but if you open Windows Media Center you should see a new option under Extras for Internet TV Beta, this should allow users in the UK to view all the content from MSN UK Video Player, music videos, news, sport and movie trailers.
I was going to do a short install walkthrough/review but as you will see that got cut short for me.
When clicking the Internet TV Beta you will be presented with the following screen…
After clicking install Media Center happily started to install the beta…
Once it had installed, only taking about a minute, it then started to look for some videos for me to watch…
I was feeling very happy until…
I have yet to get it to work, I thought perhaps that Media Center needed to be restarted, did that and still nothing, then I tried restarting the whole system, still no luck. What is weird though is that the Media Center Guide shows listing (below) but all channels and programs take me back to the above screen, I have never had much like with Windows Media Center.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE: It seems that Microsoft have pulled this service, I have never been able to use this and even people who could can no lomger access it either. Maybe there was a major bug with it or they are just being mean, I shall keep you posted.
